ANAHEIM, CA — A brush fire erupted Monday on a hillside near a boundary separating Orange and Riverside counties, quickly burning through three acres and slowing traffic for miles, authorities reported. The blaze was reported at around 10 a.m. in the in the area of Gypsum Canyon and Santa Ana Canyon roads, in Orange County, according to the California Highway Patrol and Anaheim city officials. Several engine crews from the Corona Fire Department worked with the Orange County Fire Authority and the Anaheim Fire Department in order to quell the flames.
