A new apartment building slated for Kensington is aimed at young professionals who want to live without roommates, but neighborhood groups aren't happy. | Updated 1:52 p.m. ET A 75-unit apartment building is planned for 2108-12 N. Sixth St., in Kensington, almost equidistant between the Broad Street and the Market-Frankford train lines. The six-story project is the latest offering from Fringe Development, a small real estate and property management company based in Philadelphia. 'It's not a building that's going to have big luxury apartments and it costs a million dollars to move in,' said Allan Nadav, owner of Fringe Development.
