EL CERRITO -- Homicide detectives were investigating a El Cerrito Sunday afternoon slaying of a man in the 900 block of Galvin Drive. Officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 900 block of Galvin Drive at around 4:32 p.m. 911 callers reported to police they had heard multiple shots being fired. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man down in the street. First responders rendered aid and the unidentified victim was transported by helicopter to a trauma center for treatment.
