Mariana Corona Sabeniano 's first job was working in the fields harvesting squash, tomatoes and onions in Colusa County during the summers alongside her family at the age of 12. Now, she serves as chief of staff for a state senator, a trustee for the Sacramento County Board of Education and as program chair for Sacramento's major young professionals organization. "The sky's the limit for Mariana. She could be the governor of California if she wanted to. I think she has a bright future in politics," said Amanda Blackwood, CEO of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
